When I think "Fall," I think beautiful colors, fabulous weather (minus the wind of course), and frisky dogs. Mine always seem to be anyway. As soon as that cooler weather hit Zoe always became more energetic and Hermes always wants to run as fast and frantic as possible. It's like our dogs become puppies all over again. I love watching the energy that shows from the flap of their ears to the tips of their tails. Right now it's the perfect frisbee weather and Hermes and I are taking full advantage of it. He runs, he leaps, he catches, and he brings that frisbee back . . . because he knows it means a treat every time. (He has never been one to work for free.) The other day when I took Hermes to play some frisbee I noticed that they had painted the field for football practice. For the first several throws, I couldn't figure out why Hermes wasn't able to make it to the frisbee in time to catch it like he usually does. Then I realized that HE saw the lines, too. He was jumping over every line up and back! lol When he was only a few months old, a lady at an obedience class told me that I should put him in agility and I didn't give it another thought. Jokes on me. Fall doesn't last long around here, so enjoy it in every way you can. Here's a little phone video at the end of our play time. He's quite tired out, but you get the idea. ;O)
