Earlier this month I told you about a project I was doing called The Heart Project. When I hear of a senior pet in need of a new home I try to help by giving them more exposure using Facebook. When I find out that one of these animals has found a new home it makes me feel sooooo good and truly makes my day. Well, my day was made ten times over when I met up with Sully and his new family last weekend. Sully was going by Goliath when I first met him because no one knew his real name (and he is a BIG DOG) :O) After only a couple of days, Sully found the BEST family and he is getting the love and care he needs. In return, Sully supplies his new family with endless love, smiles, fun and giggles from the beautiful girls he now has in his life.
While I was only with them for about an hour it was obvious that Sully is SO VERY HAPPY and so appreciative (trust me, you can tell this too with animals). His family tells me that he is on a diet and is down 5lbs from his original 152lbs. (I told you he was a big dog.) They also told me how much joy he brings them. I wonder if our pets really know how much they mean to us? I hope so. Congratulations Sully on your wonderful new family! You are one lucky dog. :O)

Quoted...I can't really get them to say "cheese," but I can almost always make them smile. -Kelly Categories
